Sullivan Sweet (b. 1998, Minneapolis, MN) is a photographer and mixed media artist based in Brooklyn and New York City. He holds a BS in Photography from Bard College. Sullivan works across image, book, and collaborative publishing, using improvisation and constraint as structuring devices.
In 2024, Sullivan completed the 100 Zine Project, producing one zine per day for one hundred consecutive days, employing collage, sculpture, and destructive processes to test the limits of the book form. In 2025, Sullivan founded GUTMAG, a one-day collaborative magazine assembled by artists working across different mediums. Earlier projects include Natural Causes, a photographic series on human encounters with animals and nature. Sullivan works professionally at Conveyor Studio, a New Jersey-based bookmaking studio, and CLAMP, a Chelsea-based fine art photography gallery.
