Sullivan Sweet (b. 1998) is a photographer and mixed media artist from Madison, Wisconsin based in the Hudson Valley. He holds a BA in Photography from Bard College. Sullivan’s recent photographic work, Natural Causes, explores the ways in which humans look at animals. Sullivan is interested in the conditions that expose the fragility of the human construct and allow him to experience the beauty and cruelty of the world as it really is. Sullivan also completed a zine series, for which he created a new zine every day for 100 consecutive days. The zines he produced for this project use humor, irony, pulp elements, collage, and sculpture to interrogate the book form.
