From January 1 to April 10, 2024, Sullivan produced one zine each day for one hundred consecutive days. The project functioned as both a rigorous studio discipline and an extended investigation into the possibilities of the zine form.
Materials for the series were sourced from thrift stores and junk shops. While some zines followed conventional structures of paper and binding, others challenged the format through the use of alternative media and transformative processes. Zines were burned, buried, and dissolved over the course of the project.
The daily structure imposed its own demands. Sullivan worked across shifting environments—at a cluttered studio desk, on trains, and in hotel rooms—adapting the practice to the circumstances of travel and limited time.
Each zine was documented on a cutting mat through photography and video. For fragile or ephemeral works, this record allowed the pieces to persist as images and performances.
