100 Zine Project (2024)
From January 1 to April 10, 2024, Sullivan Sweet produced one zine per day for one hundred consecutive days.
Materials were sourced from thrift stores and junk shops. Works ranged from traditionally bound booklets to pieces that were burned, buried, or dissolved. Zines were made across studios, trains, and hotel rooms and documented through photography and video. For ephemeral works, this documentation serves as the primary record.
The complete archive of the 100 Zine Project is available here.
Natural Causes (2024)
Natural Causes is a photographic series examining how humans construct their relationship to the natural world. The project follows zoologists, field ecologists, birders, and hunters, documenting the tools and spaces that structure their work. The series considers the tension between study, care, and control.
In exhibition, prints were mounted without glass to reduce visual separation between viewer and subject. A grid of trail camera images was installed to echo early motion-sequence photography and emphasize surveillance, repetition, and capture.
